Kristen Vanderveen & Divine Fortune Turn on the Afterburner to Win $25,000 Wednesday Classic at Tryon

Mill Spring, North Carolina, USA – June 10, 2020 – Kristen VanderVeen (USA) and Bull Run’s Divine Fortune turned on the afterburner to win the $25,000 Wednesday Classic last Wednesday during the first week of the Tryon Summer Series at the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC).

The American and Bull Run Jumpers Six-owned 2009 Dutch Warmblood mare (Padinus x Amhilavsca Fortuna) earned the blue ribbon by advancing to and completing  the jump-off without having any penalties attributed to them, crossing the finish line  in 28.08 seconds.

Hayley Waters (USA) and Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Waters’ Uppie de Lis, a 2001 Dutch Riding Horse (Andiamo Z x Lorraine) stopped the timers at 28.375 seconds to finish in second place.

Todd Minikus (USA) and Amex Z (Andiamo Z x Landaris) earned third on a time of 28.928 seconds.
