Wellington, Florida, USA – June 05, 2020 – Darragh Kenny (IRL) has announced the sale of Important de Muze. The 32-year-old Irishman, who is currently the seventh-ranked rider in the world, confirmed the news through his Instagram account.
However, it was not specified neither who the new owners are nor who will be riding the 2008 Belgian Warmblood gelding (Erco van’T Roosakker x Nabab de Reve) bred by Joris de Brabander at Stal de Muze.
The gelding has a total of 6 FEI-level wins under his belt, all coming under the saddle of Kenny. As a young horse, he was originally brought up by Vincent Elbers (GER) before moving on to Pieter Clemens (BEL), a short stint with Frank Schuttert (NED), then to Kerry McCahill (USA) until the end of 2017 before arriving at Oakland Stables for Darragh to ride.
The Irishman made the following statement on Oakland Stables‘ Facebook page:
“Best of luck to Important de Muze and his new owners! Thankful to have had this talented gelding as a part of the Oakland team, jumping top rounds and Nations Cups with Darragh across the globe. Looking forward to all of his future success with the new owners.”
