Wellington, Florida, USA – After another successful winter season competing at both the 2020 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) and 2020 Palm Beach Masters Series, Haras Rosa Mystica continues to solidify their presence in the very disputed market of high-level showjumpers.

The renowned stables from the State of São Paulo, Brazil, has just exported two of their top prospects, Atomica 3K Mystic Rose and Zilouet Mystic Rose, to the United States.

Eduardo Menezes (BRA) & Magnolia Mystic Rose flying towards a clear round in the$230,000 Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup of the USA CSIO 5* at the Palm Beach Masters Series at Deeridge Farms in Wellington, Florida, USA.

The Leite family’s stables has had outstanding results the past years competing in FEI-level competitions in the USA, Canada, Brazil and Mexico. It was no different this year, when Magnolia Mystic Rose showcased both scope and technique under the saddle of Eduardo Menezes (BRA) in Florida. The mare had several top-five finishes in CSI 4* and CSI 5* classes there, highlighted by a clear round in the $230,000 Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup of the USA CSIO 5*, a fifth place in the $401,000 Lugano Diamonds Grand Prix CSI 5* and a fourth place in the $137,000 Palm Beach Masters Classic CSI 5*, going up against some of the best combinations in the world.

The consistency by Menezes and the 2009 Brazilian Sport Horse mare (Zirocco Blue VDL x Cardento)  has called the attention of Philippe Guerdat and Pedro Paulo Lacerda, both responsible for selecting the combinations to represent Brazil in the upcoming Olympic Games  in Tokyo, Japan.

Moreover, the stables also has high expectations for Zambia Mystic Rose, another top mare who has proven herself not only at the 2019 Pan-American Games in Lima but also by having registered high-level victories competing in the United States. She has recently joined Felipe Amaral (BRA) in Europe in the hopes of stamping their passports to Tokyo as well.

Haras Rosa Mystica: Exporting Exclusive Horses for Higher Flights

Haras Rosa Mystica is continuously focused on breeding, raising and developing high-performance horses through the sale of semen, embryos and top showjumpers, using only the best bloodlines (Chacco-Blue, Diarado, Don VHP, Emerald, Balou du Rouet, Chaccato, etc…) for better results. The horses go through a specific training program directed at developing them to compete at the highest level of the sport.

The stables from Salto de Pirapora, Brazil, has been exporting horses to Latin America, the USA and even Europe, the latter being the most competitive market in the world, showing the quality of their animals. The results obtained in competitions of the american circuit have generated an expressive demand for their animals in the United States of America. In one deal, they sold four young prospects to Bonne Chance Farm of Lexington, Kentucky.

Denis Gouveia (BRA) & National Champion Zilouet Mystic Rose

Zilouet Mystic Rose is one of the latest fruits of their intensive pursuit of excellence. The six-year-old Brazilian Sport Horse mare (Balou du Rouet x Chin Chin) was crowned national champion in the 2016 Exhibition, the feature event for young horses held simultaneously during the Brazilian Sport Horse National Festival, the most important annual national horse show promoted by the Brazilian Sport Horse Studbook (BH). In 2019, the mare was ridden by renowned rider Bartholomeu Bueno de Miranda (BRA).

João Paulo Gouveia (BRA) & Atomica 3K Mystic Rose

Their second recently exported top horse is Atomica 3K Mystic Rose (Cardento x Indoctro). She is a more experienced one, having been competed successfully in the 1.35/ 1.40m series by Brazilian top rider João Paulo Gouveia (BRA).

As a result, both horses were selected to be exported and have arrived safely in the United States. Showjumping horses are mandatorily vaccinated for Influenza each year and do not contract nor trasmit the Covid-19 virus, therefore,  there was no problem transporting them at this time of the pandemic crisis.

The dynamic duo are headed for BZB Barn, a top-notch stables run by Juan Manuel Bolaños (ESA), where they will be further trained by him.  The main goal is to prepare them to compete in the 2022 Central-American Games in Panama and later the 2023 Pan-American Games in Chile.

“I really believe in the potential of Brazilian Sport Horses (BH Studbook) for exportation since our country affords us with great conditions for breeding, raising and developing top showjumpers. Brazil is an agricultural powerhouse that has vast lands with fertile soil and great weather conditions. All we need is a little bit more investment and in a short period of time, we will be able to supply the Latin American market with our horses. The exportation Zilouet Mystic Rose and Atomica 3K Mystic Rose shows that we do have great horses and that we must give these animals more visibility at the international level.”
