
Ocala, Florida, USA – March 10, 2020 – The ring was set for the $50,000 Summit Joint Performance Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon where 44 riders would challenge the track designed by Catalina “Catsy” Cruz of Mexico City, Mexico. The course called for accuracy, and six riders would successfully clear the track.
Kristen VanderVeen (USA) has been one to watch all season, with a Grand Prix win under her belt from Week V and several top five finishes to go along with it. She saved the best for last on Sunday, entering the ring aboard Bull Run’s Almighty.

The American and the 12-year-old bay Hannoverian gelding (Caspar x Quidam de Revel) put down a slick ride in 36.270 to capture another Grand Prix win.

Rowan Willis (AUS) & Everse W
Rowan Willis (AUS) and Everse W (Lexicon x Carthago), who had gone first in the jump-off, had held the lead all the way up until then, eventually finishing second in 36.998 seconds.

Sharn Wordley (NZL) & Cobalou
Third place was claimed by Sharn Wordley (NZL) and Cobalou (Comme Il Faut x Balou du Rouet), timed in 46.105 seconds.
