
Oliva Nova, Spain – Friday, February 21, 2020 – Julien Epaillard (FRA) was back to his winning ways, riding Quincy Lady to victory in the €26,100 Special Two-Phase Challenge CSI 2* for the Dammann Reitplatz- u. Sportplatzbau Trophy last Friday during the second week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour’s Spring MET II.
The Frenchman and the 10-year-old bay Hannoverian mare (Quintender 2 x Lordanos) completed both sections of the 1.45m challenge without having any penalties attributed to them, securing first place by stopping the final timers in 24.86 seconds.
Jérôme Guery (BEL) and BCO Milton Z (Mylord Carthgo *HN x Sandro Boy) also left all the poles up on both sections of the course, finishing second in 27.21 seconds.
Fanny Skalli (FRA) and Amitie des Douces (Diamant de Semilly x Voltaire) completed the all-French podium with no penalties, crossing the finish line in 27.33 seconds.
