2020.02.19.99.99 SRJT News Aiken Added to SRJT Event Calendar
Lexington, Kentucky, USA – February 19, 2020 – The  Split Rock Jumping Tour (SRJT) is delighted to announce its newest event, just added to its 2020 Tour schedule. The Aiken International CSI 2* will be held at Bruce’s Field at the beautiful Aiken Horse Park in Aiken, South Carolina, November 4-8. The show will offer classes in every division from .85m on up, highlighted by a $100,000 FEI Grand Prix!
Now in its sixth year, the SRJT has been revolutionizing the way the sport of show jumping is presented in the U.S. and has been creating a truly “unparalleled show jumping experience” for competitors, sponsors and spectators alike. Competing in the SRJT is unlike any other American horse show experience. SRJT competitions offer top prize money, extravagant awards, special entry packages, and numerous first-class amenities not typically found at any other horse show.
“We are thrilled about adding the new Aiken International CSI 2* to our 2020 Tour,” said Derek Braun, Split Rock Jumping Tour founder and CEO. “Aiken is such a traditional horse community, it deserves a really special event and that is what we plan to give them. The horse show world loves everything about Aiken—the Horse Park, its restaurants and hotels, and it is such a convenient location for exhibitors to get to right from the National Horse Show in Lexington or from Tryon or on their way down to Florida.”
The Aiken Horse Park Foundation offers premier equestrian facilities with the comfort and charm of an iconic Southern town. There are five all-weather rings and two schooling arenas all of which feature GGT Footing. The are 224 permanent stalls as well as space for additional temporary stabling. Sitting upon sixty-six acres of grass field, Bruce’s Field enjoys an open and spacious atmosphere, with plenty of room inviting horses and riders to stretch their legs outside of the rings. Click here for a tour of the facilities.
“We are very excited about joining forces with Derek Braun and the Split Rock Jumping Tour,” commented Tara Bostwick, Vice-President of the Aiken Horse Park Foundation. “Split Rock shows are so highly regarded and are a perfect fit to build on our desire to provide an intimate and welcoming competition experience; providing hospitality, putting the exhibitor first, and giving back to our community.”
