Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – February 14, 2020 – Michael Pender (IRL) with Hhs Javas Gucci claimed top honors in the €25,450 Jump-off Class CSI 3* yesterday during the third week of the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour in the Francisco Moura Arena of the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre in Portugal.

The Irishman and the 8-year-old chestnut Irish Sport Horse gelding (Luidam x Cruising) were supreme in the 1.45m jump-off challenge, securing the victory after a double clear and a final time of 36.04 seconds.

Harry Marshall (IRL) and Kingdom Come were also double clear, finishing second in 36.69 seconds.

John Whitaker (GBR) and Unick du Francport (Zandor x Helios de La Cour II) completed the all-British podium, leaving all the poles up for no penalties while crossing the finish line in 38.67 seconds during the tiebreaker.
