Sharjah, The United Arab Emirates – Thursday, February 06, 2020 – An unsual outcome was the result after the very exciting €52,000 Sharjah Islamic Bank Challenge CSI 5*-W/2* last Friday during The H.H. The Ruler of Sharjah Cup CSI 5*-W/2* at the Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club in The United Arab Emirates.

It was a thriller right to the wire as Mouda Zeyada (EGY) aboard Morocco and Shane Breen (IRL) and Z7 Ipswich provided the public with much excitement in the 1.50m jump-off class.

The Egyptian completed his two performances aboard the 12-year-old chestnut stallion (For Edition x Wanderer) without having any penalties attributed to them, crossing the jump-off timers in 31.10 seconds. Both his clean score and exact time in the tiebreaker were matched equally by Shane Breen (IRL) and his 12-year-old chestnut Belgian Warmblood gelding (Carembar de Muze x Quick Star), giving spectators something to talk about.
Bruce Goodin (NZL) and Backatorps Danny V (Quasimodo Z x Lupicor) completed the podium backed by a clean scorecard and a final time of 31.47 seconds.
