
Oliva Nova, Spain – January 25, 2020 – Before going on to win the Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort Grand Prix CSI 2* on Sunday, Constant Van Paesschen (BEL) and Isidoor van de Helle (Canturo x Qredo de Paulstra) also topped the €26,100 CHG – Construcciones Hispano Germanas Prize CSI 2* last Saturday during the second week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour’s Spring MET.
The Belgian and the 12-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood stallion (Canturo x Qredo de Paulstra) advanced to and completed the 1.45m jump-off challenge without having any penalties attributed to them, securing the victory in 35.30 seconds.
Edouard Schmitz (SUI) and Balenciana K (Balou du Rouet x Grosso Z) were just off the pace of the eventual winners, finishing second in 35.74 seconds.
Nicolas Deseuzes (FRA) and Stella de Preuilly (Baloubet du Rouet x Apache d’Adriers) registered the third fastest of the double clear performances, going through the finish line in 36.21 seconds.
