
Wellington, Florida, USA – January 15, 2020 – Mario Deslauriers (CAN) and Cloud 39 were the winners of the $8,000 Douglas Elliman CSI 2* yesterday during the second week of competition of the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC).
The Canadian and the 9-year-old grey Holsteiner gelding (Clarimo x Quintero), owned by Wishing Well Farm LLC, overcame all the 1.45m obstacles and had no penalties attributed to them at the end of their two performances, securing the victory in 35.698 seconds.
Giavanna Rinaldi (USA) and Concuela (Cassus 2 x Unknown) matched the winners’ double clear, finishing second in 35.707 seconds.
Sarah Hubbard (USA) and Latino van de Looise Heide (Cantos x Quadrillo) also registered a clean scorecard, earning bronze honors in 36.041 seconds.
