Mechelen, Belgium – December 29, 2019 – Niels Bruynseels (BEL) was back on top again, winning the €61,800 Sport Vlaanderen Grand Prix CSI 5* last Sunday at the Jumping Mechelen CSI 5*-W/2*.

Following his victory in 2017 with Gancia de Muze, the Belgian added another jewel from this prestigious competition, this time aboard with 10-year-old Belgian Sport Horse gelding (Toulon x Landetto). The duo overcome all the 1.50m obstacles in the jump-off too, stopping the timers in 34.68 seconds.

Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Toupie de la Roque (Kannan x Nabab de Reve) were right on the heels of the eventual winners, finishing only five-hundredths of a second behind.

Jessica Springsteen (USA) and Volage du Val Henry (Quidam de Revel x Cassini I) rounded out the top three backed by a clean scorecard and a final time of 35.12 seconds.
