Geneva, Switzerland – December 14, 2019 – It was an emotional Saturday evening at the CHI of Geneva 5* as the show jumping world bid goodbye to Scott Brash’s (GBR) legendary horse, Hello Sanctos, in a special retirement service.
Originally ridden by Peter Wylde (USA) and Katharina Offel (GER) the Brit went on to team up with the 17-year-old bay Belgian Sport Horse gelding (Quasimodo van de Molendreef x Nabab de Reve) in 2012, registering most of the brilliant horse’s 23 FEI-level wins in 252 starts, including the only duo to ever win the Rolex Grand Slam of Showjumping.

Brash paid tribute to the horse that helped him become the only rider to have won the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping; “He’s made all my dreams come true and I really can’t thank him enough for what he has done. I also need to thank my owners for believing in me and believing in Sanctos. We had an incredible partnership and I hope he will be remembered as a superstar.”
