Paris, France – December 08, 2019 – Carlos Enrique Lopez Lizarazo (COL) and G&C Arrayan triumphed in the €50,200 Laiterie de Montaigu Prize CSI 5* last night during the Longines Masters of Paris CSI 5*/2*.
Last to go among the seven combinations who had qualified for the jump-off, the Colombian and the 14-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Baloubet du Rouet x Grannus) managed to shave thirteen-hundredths of a second off the previous leaders, earning the victory after a flawless effort in 34.48 seconds.
Second place was claimed by Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Toupie de la Roque (Kannan x Nabab de Reve) with no penalties and a very fast time of 34.48 seconds, just being pipp for the win.
Roger-Yves Bost (FRA) and Castleforbes Vladimir were the only other combination with a double clear, stopping the jump-off timers in 40.71 seconds.

“Julien is no doubt one of the fastest riders in the world. To catch him, you have to give it all. (laughs) It seemed possible to gain time in two turns. I managed one, not the other. But my horse was fast enough. I’m delighted for him and also for all the team around us”, said Hubside rider Carlos Enrique Lopez Lizarazo.
