Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – November 01, 2019 – Alexa Stais (RSA) and Samba de Janeiro 3 won the €25,250 Speed Class CSI 3* today during the Vilamoura Champions Tour CSI 3* at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre in Portugal.

The South African and the 12-year-old chestnut Hannoverian mare (Stolzenberg x Glenfiddich) were supreme in the 1.45m challenge, leaving all the poles up for no penalties in 63.50 seconds for the victory.

Second place was claimed by Armando Trapote (ESP) and Conthargos Rouge (Conthargos – Papillon Rouge) backed by a clean run in 66.36 seconds.

Jake Hunter (AUS) and Last Romance finished third, only eleven-hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.
