Wellington, Florida, USA – September 7, 2019 – The Palm Beach Masters Series® is excited to announce the newest event to its 2020 lineup. The Palm Beach Open returns to the Series as a brand new CSI 5*/CSI 2* event, March 10-15, 2020.

The Palm Beach Open first took place during the 2018 season as a national standard event; after a year hiatus, it will feature show jumping’s most elite level of international competition. Coupled with a CSI 2* division, the 2020 Palm Beach Open will host the world’s best athletes, along with the sport’s rising stars, with more opportunities than ever to both compete at and visit one of the world’s most prestigious venues in Deeridge Farms.

“We could not be more excited to add another five-star event to our Series,” said Lou Jacobs, who co-founded the Series alongside siblings Charlie Jacobs and Katie Jacobs Robinson. “Supporting and showcasing high performance sport has long been our priority, and we are accomplishing that. I look forward to watching many of our sport’s best athletes compete at the Palm Beach Open in 2020.”

The CSI 5* schedule is highlighted by the $300,000 Palm Beach Masters Final CSI 5* on March 15, 2020. Oher CSI 5* classes include the $36,000 Palm Beach Masters Welcome Stake CSI 5*; the $72,000 Palm Beach Masters Qualifier CSI 5*; and the $135,000 Palm Beach Masters Classic CSI 5*.

The event schedule also includes CSI 2* divisions from 1.10m to 1.40m, as well as the brand new Sunset Challenge—Deeridge Farms’ first ever competitions under the lights. The Sunset Challenge will take place in the early evening, redefining cocktail hour in Wellington. There will be Sunset Challenge divisions at either the 1.30m or 1.40m height at all 2020 Palm Beach Masters Series events.
