Shane Breen & Ipswich van de Wolfsakker Soar to Win €350,000 Longines International Grand Prix of Ireland CSI 5*

Dublin, August 11, 2019 – Shane Breen (IRL) and Ipswich van de Wolfsakker won the €350,000 Longines International Grand Prix of Ireland CSI 5* last Sunday during the Dublin Horse Show CSIO 5* in Dublin, Ireland.

The Irishman and the 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding (Carembar de Muze x Quick Star) were the fastest combination among the only three that registered a double clear, securing the victory by stopping the timers in 34.91 seconds during the tiebreaker of the 1.45m-1.65m contest.

Scott Brash (GBR) and Hello Jefferson (Cooper v. Heffinck x Irco Mena) tried to give the eventual winners a run for their money, finishing second only due to their jump-off time of 35.39 seconds.

Lorenzo de Luca (ITA) and Dinky Toy V. Kranenburg (Ugano Sitte (E.T.) x Kimball) completed the podium with no penalties and a final time of 38.17 seconds.
