
Valkenswaard, The Netherlands – August 12, 2019 – Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Virtuose Champeix won the €93,700 Second GCL Individual Speed Class CSI 5* last Saturday during the Longines Global Champions Tour of Valkenswaard CSI 5*/2* at the Tops International Arena in Valkenswaard, The Netherlands.

The Frenchman and the 10-year-old chestnut Selle Français stallion (Rubins des Bruyeres x Avec Espoir) claimed top honors in the challenge after overcoming all the 1.55m obstacles and leaving dust to the field towards a flying flawlessly performance in 65.77 seconds.

Nayel Nassar (EGY) & Lucifer V
Nayel Nassar (EGY) and Lucifer V (Lord Pezi x Grandeur) were the runners-up, registering a clean effort in 67.69 seconds.
Kent Farrington (USA) and Austria 2 (Casall x Corrado I) rounded out the top three with no penalties in 68.81 seconds.
