Driehoek, The Netherlands – August 02, 2019 – There are not many events in the Netherlands where equestrian sports and entertainment are so seamless and that happens during the Jumping de Driehoek – CSI Ommen 3*.

The audience was on their tiptoes not to miss anything that happens in the main ring at night. Many of them saw witnessed the spectacular victory of 20-year-old Bas Moerings (NED) and Fosther in the €10,000 Boehringer-Ingelheim Prize CSI 3* last Friday.

The Dutchman and the 9-year-old grey Dutch Warmblood gelding (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Cardento) were the only combination to clear the Puissance wall at the height of 2.15 meters in the fourth round.

Koen Westendorp (NED) and Castlefied were the runners-up, attempting to clear the same height too, but coming short.

Three other combinations managed to advance to the third round but failed from advancing, thus sharing bronze honors.
