Hickstead, England – July 25, 2019 – Guy Williams (GBR) and Rouge de Ravel once again rode their winning streak, claiming top honors in the €25,000 Bunn Leisure Trophy CSI 5*, the qualifier for Sunday’s Grand Prix during the Longines Royal International Horse Show CSIO 5* at the All England Jumping Course in Hickstead, England.

After winning the €93,500 CaixaBank Grand Prix CSI 4* at Casas Novas, the Brit and the 14-year-old bay Selle Français (Ultimo va Ter Moude x Quouglof Rouge) teamed up in the 1.50m two-phase class, advancing to and completing the second section of the course without having any penalties attributed to them, crossing the final timers in 32.94 seconds.

Ellen Whitaker (GBR) and Arena UK Winston (Waldo van Dungen x Hamilton Tropics) had no penalties attributed to them at the end of the course, finishing second in 33.86 seconds.

Amanda Derbyshire (GBR) and Luibanta BH (Luidam x Abantos) completed the all-British Trifecta, registering a clean scorecard and a final time of 32.97 seconds.

“He’s unbelievable at the moment,” says Williams. “He doesn’t ever really hit fences, and the run he’s been on since Windsor is amazing. He won two last week, two the week before that, two the week before that, and then two at the Al Shira’aa Hickstead Derby Meeting.”
