In the final Grand Prix of the series, Daniel Pedraza (MEX) took home the first-place prize in the $35,000 Horseware® Ireland Grand Prix aboard his Future Z. The pair galloped through the jump-off timers in a speedy 43.774 seconds; over two seconds faster than the class’ five other jump-off challengers.

Course designer, Jasen Shelley, set the course for the week’s spotlight class. Pedraza spoke of the track, “The course was a nice course, a little bit hard to ride in some lines but a really fun course. There were only five in the jump off, so [my plan] was to go fast all the time. ”

Pedraza continued, “I just got [Future Z] six months ago, this is our first Grand Prix win together. We love it here at CHP. We have been here for five weeks and are definitely going to return next year. The footing is great, the people, everything is really amazing.”
