Samorin, Slovakia – July 21, 2019 – Matteo Leonardi (ITA) and Zypern III won the €25,000 Volvo Prize CSI 4* yesterday during the X-Bionic Summer Tour CSI 4*/2* at the X-Bionic Equestor Sphere in Samorin, Slovakia.

The Italian and the 12-year-old bay Holsteiner mare (Casall x Coriano) claimed top honors in the two-round class by leaving all the 1.50m obstacles up throughout their two performances, securing the victory in 37.63 seconds.

After having won the €25,125 Transgourmet Prize CSI 4* the previous day, Lucas Porter (USA) and Diamonte Darco (Unbelievable Darco x Unknown) teamed up again for another very solid performance, finishing second after a clean scorecard and a time of 38.79 seconds in round 2.

Guido Franchi (ITA) and Marko Polo (Caratello B x Irco Marco) were not much further behind the latter two, the only difference being their final time of 38.92 seconds.
