
Ascona, Switzerland – July 20, 2019 – Jos Verlooy (BEL) and Caracas won the €50,500 Loris Kessel Auto Lugano Prize CSI 5*, Friday’s feature class during the Longines CSI Ascona 5*/2* in Ascona, Switzerland.

The Belgian and the 14-year-old grey stallion (Casall x Colman) triumphed in the 1.50m class by leaving all the poles up for no penalties and stopping the jump-off timers in 38.67 seconds.
Kristen Vanderveen (USA) and Bull Run’s Risen (Utopie x Indoctro) cleared all the obstacles too, registering a clean scorecard and a final time of 39.47 seconds for silver honors.
Beat Mändli (SUI) and Galan S (Indoctro x Calypso d’Herbiers) produced two penalty-free performances too, securing third place in 40.95 seconds.
