Calgary, Alberta, Canada – July 06, 2019 – Spencer Smith (USA) and Idee-Fixe d’Exaerde won the $36,100 Friends of the Meadows Cup CSI 5* yesterday during the ‘North American’ tournament at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Province of Alberta, Canada.

The American and the 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood mare (Deauville de La Vie x Toulon) were supreme in the 1.45m speed, leaving all the poles up for no penalties and crossing the finish line in 54.90 seconds for the victory.

Second place was claimed by Arturo Parada Vallejo (MEX) and Cassidy Z (Cassito x Quintero), backed by a penalty-free performance in 56.89 seconds.

Daniel Coyle (IRL) and Leilani (Unknown x Unknown) completed the podium backed by a clean scorecard, going through the timers in 57.20 seconds.
