Parker, Colorado, USA – July 3, 2018 – The fourth week of the Summer in the Rockies competitive series (SIR) at the Colorado Horse Park (CHP) concluded on Sunday, June 30, marking the half-way point of the series. Summer In the Rockies is the region’s most prominent Hunter and Jumper show series, attracting the equestrian sport’s top competitors, vying for a piece of the generous prize money, as well as spectators hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite athletes.

The $60,000 Griffis Residential Grand Prix was held on Saturday, June 29, and welcomed 25 entries to the International Arena to compete for the week’s top prize. The Berm Pavilion and lawn seating accommodated a large spectator crowd as Cassio Rivetti (BRA) and Kaiser van het Lambroeck, owned by Neil Jones Equestrian, galloped to victory.

Cassio Rivetti and 9-year-old chestnut Belgian Warmblood stallion (Nabab de Reve x For Pleasure) secured the victory with a penalty-free jump-off time of 37.356 seconds, place at the top of the podium. “I have had Kaiser van het Lambroeck since he was five,” said Rivetti of his mount. “I am producing him slowly and taking our time. I think he is going to be a really great horse for the future. He is doing well.”

Course Designer Catsy Cruz of Mexico built the track for the $60,000 Griffis Residential Grand Prix. “It was a good course,” Rivetti continued, “the end of the course was really big.”
