Calgary, Alberta, Canada – June 30, 2019 – Natalie Dean (USA) and Ceitasi won the $25,000 ATCO Grand Prix CSI U-25 last Saturday during the ‘Pan American’ CSI 5* at Spruce Meadows, in Calgary, Province of Alberta, Canada.

The 1.45m challenge was the final competition for the U-25 riders during the ‘Pan American’ CSI 5* Tournament, presented by Rolex. Twenty-six young riders made their way into the Meadows on the Green in hopes of a Spruce Meadows victory. Eleven horse/rider combinations jumped a clean first round to advance to the jump-off.

Natalie Dean (USA) and her partner Ceitasi, a 9-year-old Westphalian mare (Cartello B x Cavalier) had their sights set on a second victory for the week. The pair jumped the fastest clear round in the jump off with a time of 36.85 seconds to take the win.

Delaney Flynn (USA) and Milan IV (Lasino x Quinar) matched the winner’s clean scorecard, finishing second backed by a performance in 37.18 seconds during the tiebreaker.

Hunter Holloway (USA) & Silver Creek’s Validation (Vallado x Lansing) rounded out the top three as the only other combination with a double clear, going through the timers in 40.70 seconds at the end of their second effort.
