Calgary, Alberta, Canada – June 28, 2019 – It was a busy day on the North American Ring. The final competition of the day was the  Friends of the Meadows Cup CSI 5* and 76 horse/rider combinations took on the course designed by Quintin Maertens (NED) during the ‘Pan American‘ at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The competition was over one round and riders needed to have clear and quick rides for a chance on the leader board.

Philipp Weishaupt (GER) and Coby (Contagio x Escudo 19) had a clear round and time of 59.99 seconds to take the well deserved win in the $36,100 Friends of the Meadows Cup CSI 5*.

Francisco Pasquel (MEX) and Naranjo (Robin II x Danseuse du Canet) earned silver honors backed by a penalty-free performance in 61.13 seconds.

Hardin Towell (USA) and Carlo (Casall x Landlord) also registered a clean effort, earning bronze honors in 62.76 seconds.
