Erin, Toronto, Canada – June 13, 2019 – Phase one of the Kubota Triple Crown is finally here and we could not be more excited to welcome everyone to Angelstone once again for this wonderful sporting event. This year, Kubota has continued their support Angelstone Tournaments in their efforts to host the exciting Triple Crown series.

The first FEI leg of three is this Saturday, followed by phases two and three being held during our summer series in August. Starting our international show jumping week yesterday with our $36,100 Open Welcome CSI 2*, presented by BFL Canada. Sixteen starters attempted to beat a track set by Catsy Cruz of Mexico with six riders moving onto the jump off.

It was young rider Sam Walker (CAN) and Coralissa, nine-year-old mare (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Corland) who left out a stride to the last obstacles, racing through the timers flawlessly in 38.23 seconds.

Keean White (IRL) and Tahiorn overcame all the 1.45m obstacles too, registering no penalties in 38.733 seconds during the tiebreaker.

Alberto Michan (ISR) and Cosa Nostra claimed third place after two penalty-free performances, completing the second one in 38.972 seconds.

The FEI division continues on Saturday evening in the main stadium where the $36,000 2* Grand Prix, presented by Delta Hotels will take place following the action at Stewart’s Family Zone!
