
Grimaud, France – Romain Dreyfus (FRA) and Niara d’Elsemdam Z won the €100,000 Grand Prix CSI 4* last Sunday during the Hubside Jumping CSI 4*/2* in Grimaud – Saint Tropez, France.

The Frenchman and the 9-year-old bay Zangersheide mare (Nabab de Reve x Ciel d’Espoir) overcame all the favorites and the 1.55m obstacles throughout their two performances, securing the victory in 38.20 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Once again, the host nation put two of their own on the podium as Edward Levy (FRA) and Rebeca LS (Rebozo La Silla x Cassini I) also had not penalties attributed to them, finishing second in 39.34 seconds.
Jaime Azcarraga (MEX) and The Gambler (Cajus x Carano) round out the top three as the only other combination that registered two penalty-free efforts, completing their second run in 40.95 seconds.
