Cameron Hanley & Shuttle Skyrocket to Victory in €25,600 Grand Prix CSI 2* at Tops International Arena

Valkenswaard, The Netherlands – May 23, 2019 – Cameron Hanley (IRL) and Shuttle won the €25,600 Grand Prix CSI 2* yesterday afternoon at the Tops International Arena in Valkenswaard, The Netherlands.

It was Cameron’s first visit to Valkenswaard this year and he saved the best for last. Hanley is happy with the mare who he rides for two  years now: “Shuttle is very careful and fast and from the start she kept her rhythm. She is a very sweet mare, everybody at home loves her. She has a good attitude and she is always positive, she makes things real easy for me.”

The Irishman and the 8-year-old grey Hannoverian mare (Stakkato x La Zarras 2) were supreme in the 1.45m jump-off challenge, securing the victory after being clear in their second performance, timed in 41.64 seconds.

Second place was claimed by Laura Kraut (USA) and Berdenn de Kergane (Quaprice Boimargot Quincy x Flipper d’Elle) who had no penalties attributed to them, crossing the finish line in 42.31 seconds.

Third place went to Albert Zoer (NED) and Florian (Zirocco Blue VDL x Cardento), backed by a clean scorecard and a jump-off time of 43.14 seconds.
