La Baule Escoublac, France – May 19, 2019 – Roger Yves Bost (FRA) and Tesway de La Batia won the €25,000 Prix du Département de Loire Atlantique CSI 5* last Sunday during the Longines International Jumping de La Baule – CSIO 5* de France in La Baule Escoublac, France.

The Frenchman and the 12-year-old Selle Français gelding (Calvaro x If de Merze) triumphed in the 1.45m challenge by advancing to and completing the second phase without having any penalties attributed to them, stopping the final timers.

Mark McAuley (IRL) & Miebello

Second place was claimed by Mark McAuley (IRL) and Miebello (Flyinge Quite Easy 958 x Cardento 933) backed by a clean scorecard and a time of 25.09 seconds in round 2.

Gregory Wathelet (BEL) & Spike vd Withoeve

Gregory Wathelet (BEL) and Spike vd Withoeve (Sting vd Withoeve – Funny Girl van Deinze) were also clean right to the finish line, being timed in 35.69 seconds.
