Sancourt, France – April 21, 2019 – Alexandra Francart (FRA) and Appolon Bleu won the €26,000 Grand Prix CSI 2* last Sunday at the Centre Equestre Sancourt in Sancourt, Somme, France.
The French rider and the 9-year-old bay Selle Français gelding (Rock’n Roll Semilly x Baloo du Camp) overcame all the 1.45m obstacles on the course for the second time, stopping the timers in forty-three seconds flat for the victory.
Maxime Rius (FRA) and Baron d’La Rousserie (Lando x Star D’La Rousserie) earned silver honors, the only difference being their jump-off time of 43.54 seconds.
Paul Bevan (GBR) and Deangelo II (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Kashmir van Schuttershof) rounded out the top with no penalties, crossing the finish line in 43.96 seconds during the tiebreaker.
