
Oliva Nova, Spain – April 13, 2019 – Laura Renwick (GBR) and Bintang II won the €25,100 Melisa Internationales Reitzentrum GmbH Trophy CSI 2* yesterday during the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour’s Spring MET IV in Oliva Nova, Spain.

The Brit and the 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Orlando) were victorious in the 1.45m jump-off challenge after registering their second penalty-free performance, stopping the timers in 45.33 seconds.
Second place was claimed by Gonzalo Añon Suarez (ESP) and Ad Amigo B (Tadmus x Heartbreaker) who were only eleven-hundredths of a second slower than the eventual winners.
Duarte Seabra (POR) and Fernhill Curra Quinn (Harlequin du Carel x Clover Hill) rounded out the top three with no penalties and a time of 47.06 seconds during the tiebreaker.
