Gothenburg, Sweden – March 07, 2019 – Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) and Oak Grove’s Carlyle won the SEK $860,400 Gothenburg Trophy CSI 5*, presented by Volvo yesterday during the Gothenburg Horse Show CSI 5*-W at the Scandinavium Arena in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The Swede and the 11-year-old bay Holsteiner gelding (Casall x Corrado I) claimed top honors in the 1.55m class by registering no penalties and a final time of 33.27 seconds.

It was a one-two for the host nation as Irma Karlsson (SWE) and Chacconu (Chacco-Blue x Perhaps van het Molenvondel) were the runners-up, finishing second only due to their jump-off time of 35.47 seconds.

Stephanie Holmén (SWE) and Flip’s Little Sparrow (Cardento 933 x Robin Z 723) completed podium, backed by a penalty-free performance in 36.60 seconds during the tiebreaker.
