
Gorla Minore, Italy – March 29, 2019 – Julie Andrews (GBR) and Wilando B won the €25,000 Carlo Pfyffer Horse Trading sponsored speed class CSI 5* yesterday during the Milano Jumping Challenge CSI 3* at the Equieffe Equestrian Centre in Gorla Minore, Italy.
The Brit and the 16-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Oklund x Natalie B) galloped toward victory in the 1.45m contest by leaving all the poles and registering no penalties in fifty-eight seconds flat.
Marlon Módolo Zanotelli (BRA) and Errol (Luidam x Le Tot de Semilly) were the closest ones, finishing second after matching the winner’s clean performance, going through the finish line in 61.07 seconds.
Only two-hundredths of a second separated the second and third-place finishers in the speed challenge as Max Thriouin (FRA) and Jewel de Kwakenbeek (Cicero Z x Quidam de Revel) claimed bronze honors in 61.09 seconds.
