
Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – March 25, 2019 – Morgan Bordat (FRA) and Uma won the €50,200 Grand Prix CSI 3* yesterday during the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre in Quarteira, Faro, Portugal.

The Frenchman and the 11-year-old bay Selle Français mare (Calvaro x Veneur d’Etenclin) claimed top honors in the 1.50m challenge by being the only combination that registered a clean scorecard after their two rounds, crossing the finish line in 41.22 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Faye Schoch (SUI) and Quincy W (Quinnus II x Continue) were faster in the decisive phase but this came at the expense of one rail down, earning silver honors with four penalty-points in 41.02 seconds.
Marc Bettinger (GER) and Casallini (Casall x Cassini) were the only other duo to qualify for the jump-off, rounding out the top three with fifteen-penalty points in 58.07 seconds in the decisive phase.
