
Richard Howley (IRL) and Chinook won the €50,950 Diputación de Cadiz Grand Prix CSI 3* last Sunday during the second week of competition of the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Cádiz, Spain.
The Irishman and the 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding (Tygo x Wellington) triumphed in the 1.50m class after registering no penalties and a time of 27.80 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Jake Saywell (GBR) and Havinia van de Roshoeve (Cicero Z x Lacantus) were also double clear, earning silver honors only due to their final time of 29.21 seconds.
Jodie Hall-McAteer (GBR) and Salt’n Peppa (Stolzenberg x Unknown) completed the podium backed by a penalty-free jump-off run in 30.64 seconds.
