Wellington, Florida, USA – February 21, 2019 – Daniel Bluman (ISR) and Ladriano Z won the $134,000 Equinimity WEF Challenge Cup Round 7 CSI 5* yesterday during the seventh week of competition of the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, Florida, USA.

Time was not a factor and although the course by Anthony D’Ambrosio (USA) was fair and challenging, sixteen out of the fifty-five combinations that faced it, managed to qualify for the jump-off.

Despite being the first ones in the tiebreaker, the Colombian-born equestrian who defends the colors of Israel and the 11-year-old Zangersheide gelding (Lawito x Baloubet du Rouet) galloped across much of the track, setting the definite clear mark in 38.097 seconds.

Nayel Nassar (EGY) and Lucifer V ((Lord Dezi x Grandeur) were less than a half-second slower than the winners, earning silver honors with no penalties and a time of 38.546 seconds.

Paul O’Shea (IRL) had another solid performance, rinding Skara Glen’s Presence (Contendro x Nekton) to third place after posting their second penalyt-free performance, going through the timers in 38.801 seconds.
