
Pedro Veniss (BRA) and Anaya Ste Hermelle won the €25,350 CHG – Construcciones Hispano Germanas Trophy CSI 2* yesterday at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva Nova, Spain.
The Brazilian and the 13-year-old Belgian Sport Horse mare (Andiamo x Paladin des Ifs) galloped towards gold in the 1.45m jump-off challenge by leaving all the poles up and completing their second effort in 40.09 seconds.
It was a one-two for Brazil when Marlon Módolo Zanotelli (BRA) and Errol (Luidam x Le Tot de Semilly) registered what turned out to be the second fastest double clear score among all participants in the decisive phase, stopping the final timers in 40.96 seconds.
Janne F. Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) and Soccero 2 (Singulord Joter x Casall) completed the podium with no penalties and a time of 41.57 seconds during the tiebreaker.
