Bertram Allen (IRL) and GK Casper were victorious in the CHF $30,000 Thermoplan AG Prize CSI 5* yesterday during the Longines CSI Basel 5*-W in Switzerland.

The Irishman and the eleven year old Holsteiner gelding (Canto 16 x Quantum) registered a penalty-free lap in a time of 55.89 seconds, earning them the victory in the 1.45m speed challenge.

Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) rode Quinn van de Heffinck (For Pleasure x Concetto) to second place, finishing just six hundredths of a second behind the eventual winners.

Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) secured third place aboard Twenty Clary (Calvaro x Muguet Du Manoir) with no penalties and a time of 56.62 seconds.
