Koen Vereecke (BEL) and Jativia claimed top honors in the €61,800 Sport Vlaanderen Grand Prix CSI 5* yesterday during the Jumping Mechelen CSI 5* in Belgium.

The Belgian and the 9-year-old grey Belgian Warmblood mare (Cardento x Gottwald) were victorious in the 1.50m jump-off challenge after leaving all the poles up for no penalties and crossing the finish line in 33.25 seconds.

Daniel Deusser (GER) and Jasmien vd Bisschop (Larino x Chin Chin) also had registered no penalties at the end of their two performances, earning silver honors in 33.63 seconds.

Pius Schwizer (SUI) and About A Dream (Clinton x Indoctro) secured the third spot on the podium with no penalties and a time of 33.85 seconds during the tiebreaker.
