
The first day of competition came to a close in grand fashion last night during the X-Bionic Indoor Master CSI 4* at the X-Bionic Equestor Sphere in Slovakia, Samorin.
Wilton Porter (USA) and Caletto Cabana were victorious in the feature class of the day, the €50,100 Respect Prize CSI 4*, a 1.50m jump-off challenge with the participation of 60 combinations.
The American and the 11-year-old bay Holsteiner stallion (Cassini I x Capecanaveral) edged out twenty other combinations in the tiebreaker, registering no penalties and a final time of 37.91 seconds.
William Whitaker (GBR) and Utamaro d’Ecaussines (Diamant de Semilly x Quidam de Revel) secured the second spot on the podium after completing their penalty-free jump-off run in 38.38 seconds.
Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski (POL) and Chacclana (Chacco-Blue x Capilano) rounded out the top three, being only thirteen hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.
