
David Will (GER) and Forest Gump 29 won the €25,500 Melisa Internationales Reitzentrum Trophy CSI 2* last Friday during the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour’s Autumn MET II in Oliva Nova, Spain.
The German and the 12-year-old bay Oldenburg gelding (Forsyth x Feuerwerk) secured the victory in the two-phase class by advancing to the second part of the 1.45m challenge and completing it with no penalties in 30.29 seconds.
Pedro Veniss (BRA) and Anaya Ste Hermelle (Andiamo x Paladins des Ifs) were the runners-up, the only difference being their final time of 30.48 seconds.
William Funnel (GBR) and Billy McCain (Cevin x Cruising) were also clean all the way to the final timers, stopping them in 32.09 seconds for bronze honors.
