The most successful combination at the Vilamoura Equestrian Tour the past years were up to their old tricks again yesterday. Undoubtedly, Laura Renwick (GBR) and Bintang II have been the winningiest duo over the past two or three years competing under the sunny weather of Vilamoura.

The latest feat by the Brit and the 12-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Orlando) was claiming top honors in the €24,850 Longines Ranking CSI 2* speed class, securing the victory flawlessly in 64.07 seconds.

João Victor Castro (BRA) has had great results there too and it was no different yesterday. He registered penalty-free performances on each of his two mounts, riding Sir Landal Joter (Singular Joter x Landabel) to silver honors in 65.51 seconds and Bibenbreaker (Heartbreaker x Hattrick) to a fourth-place finish in 66.66 seconds.

Louise Simpson (GBR) and Chessy 17 (Cellestial x Kolibri) rounded out the top three with no penalties, crossing the finish line in 65.74 seconds.
