
Equestrian legend and four-time Olympic gold medallist Ludger Beerbaum (GER) was back to his winning ways last Sunday while competing in the €25,000 Equiline Accumulator CSI 5* during the Jumping Verona CSI 5*-W at the Fieracavalli in Verona, Italy.

Beerbaum and the 15-year-old grey Holsteiner mare (Contender x Coronado 3) registered the maximum score of 65 points in a time of 44.68 seconds for the victory.

Bertram Allen (IRL) & GK Casper
Bertram Allen (IRL) and GK Casper (Canto 16 x Quantum) matched the winning score, finishing second hot on their heels after stopping the timers in 44.93 seconds.

Gianni Govoni (ITA) & Lucaine
Gianni Govoni (ITA) and Lucaine (Lenardo x Salamander) gave the home nation something to cheer about, being even closer to the second-place finishers, just five-hundredths of a second slower.
America’s Jessica Springsteen (USA) filled fourth place with her nine-year-old mare Volage du Val Henry while newly-crowned individual world champion, 29-year-old Simone Blum (GER) from Germany lined up in fifth with Con Touch S.
