Laura Hite (USA) and Calypso van de Zuuthoeve won the $36,500 Grand Prix Qualifier last Thursday during the Del Mar International Horse Show in Del Mar, California, USA.

The American and the 10-year-old bay Belgian Sport Horse gelding (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Thunder van de Zuuthoeve) outran 8 other combinations in the jump-off by crossing the finish line flawlessly in 41.13 seconds.

Carly Anthony and Cornetiero (Cornet Obolensky x Liberty Life) were the closest ones, finishing second backed by a penalty-free run in 42.40 seconds during the tiebreaker.

Georgina Bloomberg (USA) and Cessna (Contagio x Espri) earned bronze honors with no penalties and a time of 43.50 seconds at the end of second effort.
