Laura Renwick (GBR) and Bintang II showed their brilliance once again yesterday, winning the €41,900 Longines Ranking Speed Class CSI 3* during the Vilamoura Champions Tour CSI 3* at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre in Quarteira, Faro, Portugal.

The Brit and the 12-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Orlando) recorded one of their many victories at their “favorite” venue by leaving all the poles up, having no penalties attributed to them and crossing the finish line, in 64.25 seconds.

Emma Stoker (GBR) and Townhead Ballulah (Cartani x Tabasco La Silla) gave the British a one-two finish, securing second place after a faul-free just two-hundredths of a second slower than the winners.

João Victor Castro (BRA) and Sir Landal Joter (Singular Joter x Landabel) rounded out the top three, stopping the timers in 65.47 seconds.
