An american victory kicked off international competition today during the CSIO Barcelona 5* at the Real Club de Polo in Barcelona, Spain.

Jessica Springsteen (USA) and RMF Swinny du Parc showed scope and speed to win the €93,900 Queen’s Cup – Segura Viudas Trophy CSI 5*. The American and Rushy Marsh Farm’s 12-year-old Selle Français mare (Caspar x Laudanum) were flawless again during the jump-off, claiming the victory in 38.04 seconds.

Second place was conquered by Pieter Devos (BEL) and Gin D (Clinton I x Skippy), the only difference from the eventual winners being their jump-off time of 38.36 seconds.

Michael G. Duffy (IRL) and Chappo Chey (Carell x Cornet Obolensky) rounded out the top three after registering no penalties and a time of 38.52 seconds during the tiebreaker.
