Richard Howley & Dolores Top €145,700 Grand Prix of Gijón CSI 5*

Richard Howley (IRL) and Dolores won the €145,700 Grand Prix of Gijón – Funeraria Gijonesa Trophy CSI 5* yesterday during the CSIO 5* Gijón in Spain.

The Irishman and the 10-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood mare (Berlin x Voltaire) were victorious in the 1.60m two-round challenge by overcoming all the obstacles throughout their two performances for no penalties, completing the second one in 59.86 seconds for the victory.

Gilles Dunon (BEL) and Fou de Toi vd Keihoeve (Toulon x Melkior du Montois) earned silver honors after posting their second flawless effort, stopping the timers in 61.31 seconds.

Doron Kuipers (NED) and Charley (Calido I x Askari) secured the third spot on the podium after having a clean scoresheet and a final time of 63.47 seconds.
