A great battle for the fastest clear round led to the outcome of the $35,000 Prix SFAM CSI 5* yesterday during the Jumping International de Valence CSI 5*/2* at the Haras des Grillons in France.
In the end, it was Irish Denis Lynch (IRL) who was victorious aboard RMF Fairview (Alimo x Tara Ni Quidam), an 11-year-old gelding owned by Rushy Marsh Farm. They were the only combination to manage a time under sixty seconds, going through the finish line in 58.83 seconds.

“It’s my first win with this new horse found in Australia, I’m thrilled about this victory. I started to show him in competition around May, we’re a new combination but he’s really willing to try and there is something very chemical between us. It’s a lovely victory for me and for Rushy Marsh, co-owner of the horse.”
Jessica Springsteen (USA) & Fleur de L’Aube
Jessica Springsteen (USA) and Fleur de L’Aube (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Alcatraz) once again demonstrated that they know how to play with speed as the American claimed second place with no penalties and a time of 60.62 seconds.
Roger-Yves Bost (FRA) & Castleforbes Talitha
Roger-Yves Bost (FRA) rounded out the top three with his very own quick Castleforbes Talitha (Cardenio x Baloubet du Rouet), completing the course flawlessly in 60.89 seconds.
