Robert Smith (GBR) & Ilton won the €24,700 Bunn Leisure Trophy CSI 5* yesterday during the first day of competition during the BHS Royal International Horse Show – Hickstead CSIO 5* at the All England Jumping Course in West Sussex, England.

The Brit and the 10-year-old bay male (Dulf van den Bisschop x Calvaro) claimed top honors in the two-phase contest by advancing to and completing the second section of the 1.50m challenge, going through the final timers in 29.56 seconds.

Anthony Condon (IRL) & Zira van het Kapelhof Z (Zurich x Quickfeuer van Koekshof) matched the winners’ clean performance all the way to the wire, finishing second only due to their time of 30.85 seconds.

Willem Greve (NED) & Formidable (Carambole x Calvados) earned the third spot on the podium backed by a flawless performance to the end, crossing the finish line in 31.54 seconds.
